Validated through fire.
Conducted at the DGA Missile Test Center with the support of CNES. Zero failures over the full campaign.
The Engine
Banger. Cryogenic, re-ignitable, 3D printed.
LOX and propane. Cryogenic by design, the propellant temperatures alone are non-trivial engineering territory. Re-ignitable in flight to enable multiple boost phases on a single mission.
The combustion chamber is 3D printed in metal. Additive manufacturing gives us complex internal geometries that conventional machining can't reach, while shortening every iteration cycle from months to weeks.
Banger's development was supported by the French Space Agency (CNES), both financially and technically.
Infrastructure
Our test bench. Built by us, for us.
Most early-stage propulsion teams rent test facilities. We built our own, instrumented, modular, and reconfigurable. Every test cycle teaches us something. We don't wait for a slot. We don't share data with operators we don't control.
The bench has supported 21 successful hot-fires and counting.
Ignition
Igniters. Designed in-house.
The igniter sets the timing of combustion. It has to align the propellants to within a few milliseconds, get that right and the engine lights clean, every time.
Every igniter that fires inside Banger is designed, built, and tested in-house. Each one is reusable and re-ignitable many times over, full control over reliability and iteration speed.
Test Campaign
December 2025. DGA Missile Test Center.
Twenty-one hot-fire tests. Seven minutes of cumulative burn time. Zero failures. The full validation campaign of Banger, conducted at the DGA Essais Missiles facility in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles.
